Ahhh, the sudden urge to blog since i have been typing quite a lot lately. Not only on MSN, but on assignments, endless email replies, etc.
My fingers are all restless once they don't touch the keyboard and that is precisely why i'm slowly cutting down on sitting in front of the small laptop screen and instead holding highlighters, pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, and most of all Books. Geeee....
You know how sometimes the saying 'easier said than done' gives out its true meaning and i mean really. I have told myself umpteen times to stop facing the laptop so much (that's because i do brainless stuff on the laptop instead of reading informational stuff) and face books, newspapers, my ipod and my phone would be a better substitute to my laptop. Of course many would say, "WHAT??? ARE YOU INSANE??? A LAPTOP WITH INTERNET CONNECTION BEATS A MOBILE ANYTIME!!!". Well, say whatever you want, if you ain't got the discipline to use it right, no point using it. I answered this survey on how internet can influence an individual and to what extent via the INTERNET which was prepared by some random student from another institution has made me realize and feel ashamed of myself. However, still not repenting. boooo.... In this era, if there isn't a tele near us, internet saves us from boredom. I admire those who can get on with life without a laptop by their sides.
Nevertheless, "Easier said than done" does not only apply to the not-touching-laptop principle, it applies to human affection as well. It has somehow been an eye-opener to me to be able to see how my close friends go through difficulties in trying to solve the predicament they're in once commitment has been put down to begin a relationship. I for one, have always been afraid, or maybe apprehensive whenever it comes to situations like these. It gets worse when i encounter friends who are at their wits end and not knowing what to do and disappointment is all they feel. I know i feel so bad for them and to make matters worse, i am at my own wits end of trying to lend a helping hand. I guess sometimes it is not words they're looking for, just an ear to listen to their inner feelings that could never be told easily to just anyone. It does in fact take a lot of courage to tell a stranger about your problems with someone who is so close to your heart, oh wait i meant in your heart. That stranger for all you know feels comforted of having to know that he or she is being trusted with confidential feelings but then again, unable to help. Boohooo....
Human behavior are just beyond our control. Hence, we got to learn how to take things easy. Again, it is easier said that done. However i am glad that i can do it no matter how easy it is being said. I suppose music just solves my problems and that's why i have my ear phones blasting in my ear whenever i'm not in a lecture until my ear wax melts and eventually blocks the passageway causing temporary deafness. What in the world am i talking about??? I suppose it's a signal for me to end this post which is very much left hanging.
Oh well, i must do it as easily as it is said.
