I know i'm like really left behind in 2006. Don't blame me. Blame my fingers. They can't take strenous activities. Right now, i'm like forcing them to bear with the pain. School has been usual. Nothing much. All we do is just wake up like really early, make our way to school, study, waste time, stay back, tuition, come home, dinner, homework, sleep. Sad lifestyle. But my fingers are very helpful cause i brought them to Ulu Tiram yesterday for Community Service. Kampung Oren (Jalan Kiambang, Melati and Melur). Yea, do what there? Distribute daily necesseties to flood victims and to talk to them. So that they wouldn't feel so left out. After all we city kids need a break to see what is really happening in the outskirts. Although we couldn't do much cause mostly men were cleaning and scraping mud away from their poor lil homes, all we could do is dip our shoes in 15cm deep mud to reach the victims. It was really worth it cause we could sense their appreciation and at the same time sadness because they lost most of their belongings. Whatever the interactors of Convent saw yesterday cannot be described in words. Everyone who lives in the city in high rise buildings should see it for themselves to just imagine how devastating it is if it were you. Despite the sunburn and mud-invaded school shoes, it was something i never thought i would experience before, but now i did and i am really thankful. Appreciate what you have in front of you right this very second. To the flood victims, we hope we have done our part well and we would do it again if we could. Will always be praying for you.
